Getting texts claiming a buyer sent too much and wants the difference back. It is a scam — the first transfer gets reversed and you are out the cash. Cash in person, or a payment app you both actually use.

Use the lot by the police station or a busy store, bring someone with you, and do not hand anything over until the money is in your hand. Small habit, saves a lot of grief.
